[Overview]

Fixing agent Y H8701 is a water-soluble resin precursor derived from the condensation reaction of dicyandiamide and formaldehyde. It is a resin-type cationic surfactant widely used in the post-treatment of direct dyes. It enhances fastness to soap washing, water washing, and perspiration, and can also be used in the post-treatment of fabrics dyed with reactive and mordant dyes.

[Application Characteristics]

² After dyeing cotton, silk, rayon, or wool fabrics, treating them with fixing agent Y H8701 can enhance their fastness to washing, soap washing, rubbing, and ironing.

² When using direct dyes for base-color discharge printing or white-out printing, treating the fabric with fixing agent Y H8701 can prevent base color from bleeding into the white-out areas.

² When treating warp-stapled yarns of yarn-dyed fabrics with this product, it can prevent bleeding and color transfer.

² Fixing agent Y H8701 can also be used for fixing dyes on paper.

² Fixing agent Y H8701 must not be used in combination with anionic surfactants, nor for fixing in anti-brittle vulcanized black treatments or resin finishes.

² Fixing agent Y H8701 does not affect the binding of dyes to fibers, does not alter the fabric’s original color tone, and provides a protective effect on the fibers.

[Usage Instructions]

Recommended usage: The dosage of this product is generally 1 to 2 times that of the dye, depending on the type of fabric and the desired shade. When using, use glacial acetic acid to adjust the pH of the fixing bath to 4.5–5.5; the fixing time is 10 minutes.

[Packaging, Storage, and Transportation]

1. Packaging: Packaged in plastic drums, net weight 120 kg per drum.

2. Storage: Store in a cool, well-ventilated area. Keep tightly sealed. Shelf life: 12 months.

3. Transportation: This product is classified as non-hazardous for transportation.
